Ed came to the AGA after 8 years with the LPGA Tour in 1985 as Executive Director. A Rules expert, he has served over 500 professional Tour events, 600 amateur events, and consulted with several international associations assisting in their development. He created the Patriot All America with Golf Coaches Association Director, Gregg Grost. He is a two-time President of the International Association of Golf Administrators, ten years as Executive of the Pacific Coast Golf Association, over forty years’ membership in the Golf Writers Association of America, and currently Captain for Golf Digest Panelists in Arizona. Memberships include the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland and Desert Forest Golf Club, Carefree.

Mary has been a leader in Arizona golf administration for over 20 years. She joined the staff of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona in 1996 and served as its Managing Director. She was hired by the Arizona Women’s Golf Association in May of 1999 and served as its Executive Director until the integration of the AWGA into the AGA in January 2019. She was a founding member of the Women’s Golf Alliance, formed in 2009 as a national trade association for leaders in women’s golf. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Golf Administrators for 7 years and currently serves as its President.

Director of Communication & Outreach
Anj began working for the AGA in January of 2019 following the integration of the AGA and AWGA. No stranger to the golf industry, she served as the AWGA’s Director of Information & Outreach 2017-2018; Director of Youth Programs for the Colorado Golf Association 2001-2004; and as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at her alma mater, Oregon State University, 2004-2007. Anj played golf and earned a B.S. from OSU in 1999 and a Master of Sport Science from the United States Sports Academy in 2002.

Director of Rules & Competitions
Tim Eberlein currently serves as the Director of Rules and Competitions for the AGA Men’s Tournaments. Mr. Eberlein is a PGA Master Professional and has an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He served in a dual role for 20 years as Campus President and Tournament Director for the Golf Academy of America before joining the AGA in March 2019.

Le Ann Finger
Director of Tournaments & Player Development
Le Ann joined the AGA in August 2017 and serves as the Director of Tournaments and Player Development. Le Ann manages women’s tournaments and championships as well as the AGA Build A Team program and Golf 101 instruction program. Le Ann is a PGA Certified Professional in Player Development in addition to being one of only 210 women nationwide who are both a PGA of America and an LPGA Class A Professional. She serves on the national GOLF 20/20 Women’s Task Force and is the President of Women In The Golf Industry.

Director of USGA Programs – Education & Training
Erin has been a part of the Arizona Golf Community for a little over 20 years as a player, and as staff with the JGAA, the AWGA and now the AGA. She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University’s Isbell School of Hotel and Restaurant Management and spent a short time in Guest Relations at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa and Conference Services at the Buttes Resort and Spa. She is currently the Director of USGA Programs with a focus on education and training, USGA Qualifying, and the Arizona Rules Committee.

Derek began at the AGA in 2006 as a PJ Boatwright Intern, secured as the final requirement for his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin. Upon completion of his internship Derek was hired in a full-time staff role, currently serving as the Director of USGA Services, responsible for oversight and administration of various USGA/AGA programs including: Handicapping, Course Rating, Amateur Status & GHIN software.

Director of Strategic Alliances & Partnership
Chris is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, generating revenue to support and enhance the AGA membership and promoting the golf association brand. Chris has over 25 years of professional sports sales and management experience. He spent 20 years with the Phoenix Suns where he was responsible for sales, retention, marketing and managing sales for Arena Football, Arena shows, WNBA and the NBA.

Robyn joined the AWGA in 2013, becoming an AGA employee in 2019 when the companies integrated. As Director of Business Resources she handles the company’s IT needs and helps AGA members that have technical issues with AGA products. She was previously Executive Director of Arizona Highways PhotoScapes and worked at both Channel 15 and Channel 8 as Director, Technical Director, Videographer, Editor, Audio Engineer and more.

A graduate of the University of San Diego with a degree in Business Administration, Alex began his career at the Arizona Golf Association through the USGA’s Boatwright Internship program in the spring of 2011. Spending his first four years as Tournament Director, he then transitioned over to the Member Services Department in 2016 where he remains today. He oversees club related items, coordinates the Annual Meeting and Arizona Golf Hall of Fame, while also conducting member days and the Club Team Championship.

Susan started with the association in 2006. She previously managed the auditing department for a medical group. She currently works in the accounting/administration department.

Manager of Club Programs
Michelle joined the AGA in 2005. She previously worked at the Wigwam and spent three years in Spangdahlem, Germany, where she worked in the pro shop at the base’s 9-hole course. Her career at the AGA began in the tournament department and later moved into handicapping, where she is now in charge of the AGA score posting equipment at our member clubs. One of Michelle’s favorite tasks is taking care of registration for the Patriot All-America in December.

Paris started with the AGA in July of 2018 after graduating from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Sports and Media Studies. She was previously an intern for CBS Radio Phoenix, and the Client Activations Coordinator at AdSport in Phoenix, AZ. She currently manages the AGA’s monthly communications, website design, social media and partner activation. She also manages the AGA’s involvement in the Patriot All-America Invitational.

Mike started with the AGA on April 1st, 2016 after moving to Scottsdale from Colorado Springs. Mike started at the association as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern. After a 9-month internship he joined the staff permanently as the Tournament Operations Manager, handling back-end prep work for most of the association tournaments and events. Mike also handles all Senior Cup Series events and the AGA Father/Son Championship.

Sharon started with the AGA in May of 2016. She previously worked in Administration at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in San Diego, CA and prior to that at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, CO – She assists with AGA Membership Customer Service and a variety of project coordination for various events. She is the first smile you see when you walk in the office!

Brianna Gianiorio started with the AGA as the USGA PJ Boatwright Intern in May of 2018. She currently attends Arizona State University and is perusing degrees in Sports Business and Business Marketing. She works part time with the communications and marketing department while in the office. She also works as a Student Tournament Service Intern with the PGA Tour. In her free times, she enjoys volunteering at Miracle League of Arizona, where she teaches kids with disabilities to play and learn the game of baseball.

On October of 2005 Vivian accepted the administrative assistant position with the AWGA. After merging with the AGA in January of 2019 her current position with the AGA remains the same. She also volunteered for many years with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona as well as the Oahu Junior Golf Association in Hawaii. In 1997 she moved from Hawaii to Arizona.

Kyle started with the AGA in May of 2019 as the USGA: PJ Boatwright Jr. intern of rules and competitions. He is an in coming Junior at Arizona State University majoring in Marketing- Professional Sales. He has previously worked at Anthem Golf and Country Club as well as a caddy at Desert Forest Golf Club. He is currently a part of the team that sets up and runs our tournaments as well as works on specially designed intern projects.

Kylie started with the AGA in June of 2019 as the USGA PJ Boatwright Jr. Intern of USGA Services. She recently graduated Valparaiso University and majored in marketing with a minor in business analytics. She played division 1 golf all fours years for VU. Last summer, she worked for the American Junior Golf Association as a tournament operations intern. She is currently part of handicapping, amateur status, USGA qualifiers and course rating.

Gillian is a PJ Boatwright Jr. intern currently working for the Marketing and Communications team.
