We sponsor golf—and charity.
We’re proud to work with the PGA TOUR® off the course too. Each year, our joint efforts help contribute millions of dollars to nearly 3,000 charities nationwide. Almost all the money raised goes right back into the community where the tournaments are held.

EVENT INFORMATION

What:

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship is a 54-hole tournament and the third leg of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs that consists of the top-36 players on the Charles Schwab Cup points list. This season-ending championship on PGA TOUR Champions determines the final money list for the season as well as the final standings in the Charles Schwab Cup, a season-long, points-based competition launched in 2001 to determine the PGA TOUR Champions’ leading player. Points are reset prior to the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, ensuring a real shootout as all 36 players in the field will have a mathematical chance of winning the Charles Schwab Cup with a victory at the event. The 2017 tournament will be played November 10-12.

Who:

The winner of the Charles Schwab Cup Championship will receive $440,000, while the Charles Schwab Cup will dole out $2.1 million in prize money to the five top point earners. This ensures that the best players on the PGA TOUR Champions will be on hand when the tour reaches Arizona.

When:

November 8 – 12, 2017

Where:

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship will be hosted in the shadow of downtown Phoenix at the Phoenix Country Club in 2017 and 2018. Designed by Harry Collis and built in 1899, the 6,732-yard layout will challenge the best of the PGA TOUR Champions in the traditional season finale to determine the Charles Schwab Cup champion. The Phoenix Country Club was redesigned in 2002 by current PGA TOUR Champions pro Tom Lehman.
