Biltmore super special for July 14

Golfers can "name their price" for a round of golf at The Biltmore’s Links Course. That’s right, they are encouraging golfers to play a round, and then pay what they believe that round was worth.

The "Play N’ Pay" program will make its debut on Saturday, July 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reserve your tee time by calling the golf shop directly at 602.955.9655.

Sun City CC hosts golf mixer Saturday

This Saturday, Dec. 3, Sun City Country Club will host a day of golf festivities starting at noon. From noon to 2 p.m. watch a free clinic with PGA Tour winner Arron Oberholser. The clinic will be followed up by a 9-hole shotgun golf tournament. Entry into the tournament is $50 which includes prizes, freebies and a ticket for the Coyotes vs. Flyers game that night. Free movie screening for AGA members

AGA members are invited to attend a free movie screening for the new golf movie "Seven Days in Utopia" Monday, Aug. 29 at Harkins Arizona Mills. The movie follows the story of Luke Chisolm (Lucas Black), a talented young golfer set on making the pro tour. When his first big shot turns out to be a very public disaster, Luke escapes the pressures of the game and finds himself unexpectedly stranded in Utopia, Texas, home to eccentric rancher Johnny Crawford (Robert Duvall). But Johnny’s more than meets the eye, and his profound ways of looking at life force Luke to question not only his past choices, but his direction for the future.
