The Arizona Golf Association would like to recognize Robert Binkley as the Volunteer of the Month.
As a long time golfer, Robert reached out to the Arizona Golf Association in 2011 in an effort to give back to the game through involvement with the AGA’s course rating endeavors. Soon thereafter he underwent the comprehensive training program to obtain the knowledge necessary to serve as a contributing team member. In the subsequent 4 years, Robert has invested countless days on the course serving the AGA rating team, attending upwards of 100 rating evaluations around the Valley and outlying regions of Arizona.
While always serving with a smile and positive attitude, Robert has consistently presented himself as a model rating team volunteer with his generosity of time and efforts invested in the AGA’s course rating department. Over the years Robert’s expertise in the USGA Course Rating system has grown to become a valuable resource while on the course and in educating fellow rating team members.
Due to recent events Robert has been forced to limit his involvement with the course rating team but should be recognized for the valuable team member capacity he has served over recent years. On behalf of fellow AGA rating team members and staff, thanks Robert for your endless support and contributions.
