The AGF (Arizona Golf Foundation)/ Friends of Freedom Marathon is an incredibly fun fundraising campaign where all types of golfers can participate in an event to rally support for our troops as well as enjoy a beautiful day out on the course. CEO, Ed Gowan and AGF President Jay Anderson spent countless hours on building a team to commit to playing 100 holes of golf in one day!

“We completed our 100 holes of golf yesterday, Tuesday, April 19th, and it only took 1 bottle of Advil. We had 28 golfers and raised over $92,000 (exact number ) for the charities. Everyone had a great time!” – Jay Anderson, President of Arizona Golf Foundation.

Twenty-eight players gave-a-day and participated in the 100 Golf Marathon but over 300 people donated to the cause.
If you did not get a chance to participate in the event this year, have no fear. “We all agreed that we will start the process for next year (when?) and shoot for $ 150,000. If you would still like to donate, please go on to the web site at www.azgolf.org and submit your pledge. Thank you all who participated and to all who donated to this great Charities.”
