Geare dominated San Tan Amateur despite frigid conditions
The 2013 San Tan Amateur marked the start of the 2013 AGA tournament season. Played at Las Colinas Golf Club in Queen Creek, this two day event featured some frigid conditions and excellent golf. In the end, Tucson’s Pat Geare, who fired a 65-69 for a final score of 8-under 134, came in two strokes ahead of Chandler’s Koan Woon Rim for the win.
