Steve Nosler Passing

PHOENIX, Az. – Please join with us in mourning the passing of Oregon golf’s Steve Nosler.  A long-time Pacific Coast Golf Association Trustee and University of Oregon golf coach Nosler left us on Friday following a brief illness. He was 74. Nosler served a combined 20 years as Oregon’s men’s golf head coach, assistant coach and director of operations after retiring from the apparel business, with many more years as volunteer, supporter and friend to the Oregon Golf Association. A fixture at Eugene Country Club, where he presided as President over several Pacific Coast Amateurs, Steve loved the game of golf almost as much as the people he met through it, all of them becoming instant friends. Steve was one of golf’s great ambassadors. He will be sorely missed.
