CITIZENS CUP HELD AGAIN IN TUCSON

The Tucson Citizens Cup was once again played in Tucson this weekend with eight clubs competing at two sites. Four played at El Conquistador-Canada Course and four at del Lago Golf Club. Advancing to the second round are Tucson Golf Club, Pueblo del Sol, 9/80 Golf Club and Los Hermanos. The final two rounds will be played at Quarry Pines on Saturday, May 19 and at Tucson National on Sunday, May 20.

Club Team Championship

Register now to play in the 15th Annual Club Team Championship to be held at Desert Highlands Golf Club Dec. 10.

The event is a two-person scramble, played at gross and net within flights. Participants must be AGA members from the same club. To qualify your team must participate in one of the five one-day qualifiers. All championship flight teams must qualify at Lone Tree on Nov. 8. Questions? Email Ginger Monroy at gmonroy@azgolf.org

2012 Champions 100 Golf Marathon

The 2nd Annual Champions 100 golf marathon is scheduled for Monday, June 4 at TPC Scottsdale-Champions Course. Proceeds will benefit military charities including Folds of Honor, the Navy Seal Foundation and Birdies for the Brave.

Participants will play 100 holes of golf and commit to raise $25.00 per hole. We are looking for team leaders and participants. Contact Ed Gowan at the AGA office (602-944-3035) or J. Michael Meadows of Pro Fund West (602-252-5758).
