2008 Club Team Championship |
The 11th Annual Club Team Championship will be held Tues., Dec. 11 at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Mesa. Open to all AGA Members, the format is a two-person scramble played at gross and net within flights. There is no limit to the number of teams a club can send to the qualifying tournaments that will be held in November. Make sure to pick your partner and enter this popular event.

2008 AGA Senior Cup Series |
If you are over 55 and are looking for a fun, quality golf experience with your peers at some great courses, then consider the AGA Senior Cup Series. Signups are now available for the Senior Cup Series, Senior Cup Series - Southern Arizona and Sernior Cup Series - West Valley. The AGA is finalizing the rest of the 2008 schedule and more information will be available in the near future for both the overall Senior Cup Series and the Southern Arizona Series.

AGF to Restore Papago Golf Course
The Arizona Golf Foundation (AGF) in partnership with the City of Phoenix, kicked off the restoration of Papago Golf Course on April 4. The city signed a contract with the Foundation to restore the course and to operate it when restoration is completed.

2008 Father Son Tournament |
It's time once again to start thinking about taking your father and/or son to cool Prescott for a weekend of bonding and golf. This year's Arizona Father/Son Tournament will be hosted by Antelope Hills Golf Course the weekend of June 7-8.
This is a two-day Chapman format event in which a father is permitted to play with up to three sons. There are three divisions...pro, handicap and callaway. At least one member of the amateur teams must be a member of the Arizona Golf Association.
Opening date for entries is March 15. This is a very popular event so get your entry in early. Entries must be postmarked NO EARLIER than March 14 or they will be returned.
