What was the Correct Ruling on Dustin Johnson?

If you tuned into the final round of the 116th U.S. Open, you witnessed the ruling dabacle with Dustin Johnson and most likely shared in the frustration of all those involved.  Johnson was alerted of a ruling issue once he arrived to the 12th tee for his actions that occurred on the 5th green.  The USGA shines some light on how the events unfolded and what their plans are moving forward.

We welcome Mike Mason as the new Boatwright Intern with the Arizona Golf Association. The goal is for Mike to be exposed to as many aspects of the golf industry as possible during his time, but the focus will be on the tournament side of the association. Forest Highlands Chosen to Host 2019 Women’s U.S. Mid-Am

Forest Highlands Golf Club, in Flagstaff, Ariz., has been selected by the USGA as the host site of the 2019 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Scheduled for Sept. 14-19, the 33rd U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur will be the club’s fourth USGA championship and first since the 2014 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.
