The City of Phoenix answers the Papago Men's Club's concerns about access and pricing.  One must understand that an RFP is a Request for Proposal.  The City of Phoenix felt that our proposal best suited their overall vision for Papago Golf Course and the relationship with a non-profit entity.  Once chosen as the recommended organization, the specific details of the contract still need to be negotiated.  As in any negotiation process, the final product will most likely be different than originally proposed.

The storm that hit Phoenix last Thursday left its mark on Papago.  By the time it passed through the area, about 50 trees were uprooted and strewn all over the golf course.  No hole was spared as Mother Nature picked her way across the course with no particular plan, yanking out trees here and there - mostly pine and eucalyptus - some large, some small.
