Southwest Team Golf Classic to be Held at Beautiful Cascata and Rio Secco Courses in Las Vegas |
A fabulous opportunity to experience two of the country's top courses in the fun-filled city of Las Vegas. The Southwest Team Golf Classic features a team of one professional and three amateurs competing in a modified shamble of 36 holes played at Cascata and Rio Secco Golf Clubs. The tournament will be held Nov. 18 - 20 and the entry fee includes three nights at the Paris Hotel and Casino.

TPA Championship - New Price of $250 - Includes Lodging |
Attention TPA Members: A new price of $250 will include two nights of lodging, 3 rounds of golf, one welcome dinner and prize fund. The format is 36 holes of Individual Stableford competition at Gross, and is open to all active TPA Members as of August 1, 2008. Please contact the AGA office for more information.

Paul Welle Captures Arizona Mid-Amateur Championship with a Four-Shot Victory |
Paul Welle expanded on his 36-hole lead to capture the Arizona Mid-Amateur Championship with a four-stroke victory over Charles Kingsbaker at The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines. Welle, shot a one-over 73 for a three-day total of one-over 217. Kingsbaker, who started the day, two shots off the pace, recorded a 3-over 75. Tim Duffey finished alone in third place at nine-over 225 and Ken Kellaney was fourth at 228 for the three days. David Bosley, who started the round tied with Kingsbaker, withdrew after five holes with tendinitis of his elbow.
